untitled

As I prepare myself for sleep,
Count to five,
My eyelids drop,
I realise my heart does weep.

For these eyes that sleep now do claim,
Did not see you since yesterday,
They did not view; Your smile so rich,
Your eyes so warm,
and your lips so tender.

So what am I to do in these late hours of slumber?,
But dream; Of your hands on my skin,
Your breath on my cheek,
And the soft words 'I love you' on my ears.

So I drift so peacefully in memories of
Past realities,
Into slumbers waiting arms,
Accompanied by visions so blissful,
I wish to dream of nothing more,
But our reality.

Waiting

I know the trees do quake and shiver,
Their leaves silent in their wake,
As they gaze in idle and await,
For the glowing moment on my screen does appear an image,
For a wish to embrace.

So time ticks on and I grow strong,
For a heart is my only want till dawn,
So here I'll wait for the time,
When you emerge from your life afar,
To spend some time with the girl across the sea.

Green eyes affixed to the screen,
Silent gaze in eager pain,
For moments,
Minutes,
For words exchange.

So love and trees sit,
Watching,
Waiting,
Quiet in the night,
For your return and your care.

long time. no. c.

Premonitions of lost things,
Of places I've never been,
I'm looking for my thoughts,
in the wishing well.
I threw them away,
And wished for something else that day.
Laughter to a joke unheard.
Whispers in deaf ears.
Searching for my wishes in my thoughts.
The earth is looming,
The heaven's dooming.
Searching, turning, flying, falling.
Holding hands with yesterday,
Kissing sunrise dawning.
Its lonely at the bottom of the well,
Come visit me if you find a way,
I'll wait for you here today,
But tomorrow you'll have to find another way.

Dictionaries spell out disaster.

Picture: This is where the trolls live
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Me: 'I wish I had more time to appreciate all the little things in life.'
Mother: 'But then you probably wouldn't appreciate them.'
Me: 'So retirement for you is basically going to be a decade or two of bored un-appreciation?'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I had drinks and hung out with my friends boyfriends pack of chums last night, he lives in an apartment on Williams st across from club 77. From the roof turned pooled terrace, you could see all the way across Hyde Park to the CBD and Kings Cross on the other side. I said I'd happily massacre the family just for the view. There may be a restraining order in the works.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I looked up massacre in the dictionary (my spelling is atrocious)
I found the definition made me chuckle, not 100% sure why. This probably wasn't the intention of the authors, I'm sure it should instill a general sense of horror & inhumanity.
massacre |ˈmasikər| noun
  • an indiscriminate and brutal slaughter of people : the attack was described as a cold-blooded massacre | she says he is an accomplice to massacre.
  • informal a heavy defeat of a sports team or contestant.
verb [ trans. ]
  • deliberately and violently kill (a large number of people). See note at kill .
ORIGIN late 16th cent.: from French, of unknown origin.
....... Maybe if I looked up the the word "bunny," or "daffodil," I might find my misplaced sense of horror for 'massacre,' hmm
A handful of buttons
The objects that made my day yesterday...
A shell necklace I made two years ago wrapped around an old coca cola bottle. Because to everyone else these objects would be considered garbage.
The beautiful bracelets by Dinosaur Design a friend forgot at mine.
A pair of Loeffler Randall snake skin shoes I had forgotten I even owned. Because rediscovery is better then something new. It doesn't cost a penny.
Two Nurofen, as I woke up with a headache, which was soon forgotten as I marveled at the tiny print on the little pills.
The rain. Because I didn't feel like sunshine.
